Next Work Permit Training... Nov. 3, 2010

Over the past several years, the development of a work permit training program has been an important CAWEE goal. Finally, we are happy to inform you that the training of work permit issuers has been developed and refined and is now being offered to all CAWEE members at every CAWEE Conference and Inservice.
It is CAWEEs intention to eventually offer work permit trainings locally or online as well, but we have not yet scheduled those trainings. It takes time and personnel to do so, and until we have systematized the program we will offer the trainings only at conferences.
Currently, the Work Permit Training will be offered for a set fee as a pre-conference session. It will consist of several hours of lecture followed by an open book test. Results will be announced by mail. Those who pass at 70% or better will be issued a special Certificate of Training signed by the CDE liaison, Kimberly Born, and the CAWEE President. CAWEE will also send a letter of commendation to your school district informing them of your accomplishment.
